May Street Photography Course
My next Street Photography Course at The Darkroom will start on Tuesday 3rd of May (7-9pm) and will be held at 32 Brunswick Street North (Stoneybatter, Dublin 7) and at outdoor locations. This course is aimed at those who wish to shoot urban scenes and everyday life on the streets of Dublin and is suitable for beginners and intermediate students. You will learn the best camera settings for different lighting conditions, focusing techniques, tips on composition and much more! Here are the dates of the course:
– Tuesday 3rd May (indoor session: introduction and theory): 7-9pm
– Saturday 7th May (outdoor session starting from Trinity College): 10.30am-15.30pm including breaks
– Tuesday 10th May (indoor session: critique of students work and conclusion)

The photograph above was taken in Francis street (Dublin) in June 2014 and features street art by Solus. It featured in the Art Photo Feature Magazine Finest Street Photography Gallery that same month and later was exhibited in the Irish Street Photography Exhibition that took place in Culture Box in August 2014.
New publishings!
I was delighted to have this photograph published in a special printed limited edition of issue 5 of The Fix Analogue Photography Magazine last November. And more recently, last 9th of January, I had my photograph ‘Dubli-N man’ published in the Home section of the Irish Independent weekend magazine, as part of an article on art to hang in your home.

Culture Night 2015 Exhibition
Looking forward to Culture Night this Friday 18th of September at The Darkroom at BlockT (7.30-9pm), where I’ll be taking part in a photography exhibition with a handmade darkroom print of this photograph I took in Palma de Mallorca last August. There will be many other events on the night and I’ll also be at a table where you’ll be able to see my handmade photobook ‘Five Streets’ (self published with the support of Read That Image) and find out about my upcoming Street Photography Courses. iStreet Photography Exhibition
I’m delighted to be taking part in the upcoming ‘iStreet Photography Exhibition’ with this image. The exhibition will feature over 50 Irish and International photographers at Sol Art Gallery (8 Dawson Street Dublin) from the 14th to the 27th of August. Hope to see you there!
Black Apple Cafe Exhibition
Some of my darkroom prints of Dublin are on exhibit at the Black Apple cafe till the end of this week (Sunday 17th of May), along with the Photowalk 2014 group exhibition I organized for the 2015 Harold’s Cross Festival. I also have exhibitions in the Harold’s Cross Park Noshington cafe and Brick House. Drop in if you get a chance!
Fontana Cafe Exhibition
I’m delighted to have an exhibition up at the moment at Fontana Cafe, 21 Camden Street Lower (upstairs). ‘Black and white Dublin’ is an exhibition of my earlier black and white digital work and also features some of my latest darkroom prints of my film photographs of Dublin. The exhibition will come down on Saturday 25th of April so make sure to pay it a visit before then if you’d like to see it! Many thanks to Morris Film Photo for organizing this exhibition and many others at the Fontana Cafe!
